Their brand-new products and technologies such as 40G/100G and IPTV-related were displayed in every booth. Serious business discussions and technical consultations were seen everywhere, in addition to the promotions of brand-new products and the demonstrations of system equipment. The newly-launched "40G/100G Device Zone" and "IPTV/VOD Zone", gathering those new products & technologies gained much attention this year. Technical conference was held concurrently with the exhibition. Sessions covering cutting-edge technologies and the latest trends in the optical communication industry such as NGN, 40G/100G were presented by speakers including Mr. Miura: CEO of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp.
